My boss used to tell me not to stress..."It's only television." We just do our best, tell the story and people will see your genuine empathy, love of profession and care for them. Photography is much the same way. I shoot what I see which is your true inner beauty, your personality and your story. My end product may not make it to the evening news...but it will make it's way into your hearts, memories and heirlooms for years to come. Thank you for welcoming me into your lives and eventually into your homes as a part of the history of your lives.
I'm not one to make a story about me...that's why I chose to be behind the camera but here are a few fun facts about me. I've always loved photography and the weather. Wanted to be a storm chaser but that wasn't exactly a practical profession. Alas, I did end up working at a news station, eventually got a broadcast meteorology degree and found myself working as a weather assistant in the weather office. I never went on air but was always behind the scenes where I was most comfortable. What does this have to do with photography? My approach is journalistic. My comfort zone is behind the lens.

Whether you're reserved or gregarious by nature...are you adventurous, ready to move and live in the moment of the shoot? We don't pose...we tell the story. By the end of the session you'll be directing yourself and won't even realize how far you've come! Bring yourself, your props and your creativity and we'll be a dynamic force to be reckoned with that will produce images you'll cherish forever. I've been know to jump up and down and run up to you with a preview. I'm a self proclaimed dork and I'm good with it. At 43, there's no changing it now. :)
